Buying MP3 files
All of our downloadable music is sold without any form of copy protection or DRM (Digital Rights Management). Our goal is to supply the highest quality possible without losing compatibility with any portable music player (iPod, Philips, Sony, Nokia, etc.) available. Creating your own CDs from our files is also simple. We aim at making the purchasing and listening of digital music as simple as possible regardless of your operating system, Internet browser or portable music player.
Most of our music files (more than 99%) are encoded as 320 kb/s 44.1 kHz stereo MP3. On rare occasions the encoding might differ within the same record company or artist. If you have any questions regarding the music you are purchasing, do not hesitate to ask us in advance. We are working on a feature that lets you the technical details of the music files that are for sale.
When you have purchased digital music either as a complete album or an individual track you will be directed to the download site directly after paying for your purchase. You can at this point choose to:
-download the music you have bought as MP3-files
-download all of the music you have bought as one zip file
-download all the albums you have bought as individual zip files
Windows XP and Vista are capable of reading and extracting zip-files without additional software.
You also have the option of downloading the music by logging in on your account page. All of the music you have bought is available for downloading for 7 days after your order has been placed. We strongly recommend making back-up copies of the music you have bought, as we are not able to replace music that you have lost.
Payment methods
The Ground accepts Paypal, Visa, Visa Electron and MasterCard credit and debit cards. Nordea, Sampo, Aktia as well as SP/POP Internet banking. The Ground never saves your Internet banking or credit card information, as payments are handled by secure 3rd parties. In the above cases either by your credit card company or your Internet banking service.
